Cordless phones and handsets make it more convenient to answer the phone and talk in different parts of a home or office. The VTech 2-lines cordless telephones and handsets are available with a range of features. These products come in several colors and work on multiple types of frequency setups.

• DECT 6.0: DECT 6.0 stands for "digital enhanced cordless technology," which works over a variety of frequencies. DECT digitizes the sounds produced by the human voice for clarity when traveling through communications lines.
• 900 MHz: This is a basic frequency that also includes functionality for using the handsets as walkie-talkies.
• 1.9 to 5.8 GHz: These cordless telephones can operate at higher frequencies that do not interfere with other household electronics.

• Caller ID: Caller ID shows the area code and phone number of incoming calls. You can also set up a contact list with the Caller ID system so you know who's calling you.
• LED: The buttons of the cordless phone handsets are backlit with LEDs. The handset bases illuminate when the cordless phone is in use and when the handset is charging on its base.
• LCD: The Caller ID and other information is shown in black characters the handset's LCD screen.
