Best secondhand GPU on the market if RTX isn't a priority
Let's face it- most of us can't get our hands on RTX cards without spending a fortune. However, the 1080ti is the best pre-rxt card that you can get, and this offering from EVGA is one of the best-performing versions. The ICX cooling system is overkill to say the least, and the unlocked OC bios makes it easy to push this beast well-past 2000mhz in terms of clock speed. Make sure that you've got the space to fit the card into your case, and something to provide additional support, as this piece of tech weighs several pounds. Stability issues with multiple-monitors will occur if the card it allowed to sag against a 16x PCI-e slot. Be prepared to provide ample power to a card like this and you will be rewarded with 144hz performance at 1440p resolution or more with relative ease. Ansel architecture is capable of software-driven RTX at the cost of lower frame rates, but 1080p gameplay is certainly possible with single-player games. The rugged construction of this GPU will likely keep everything working well until the day when RTX GPUs become widely available and affordable, so do not hesitate to pick up a secondhand 1080ti while you can if high-definition gaming is your bag.

Great Card, Great Performance, Great Deal!
I use an HTC Vive constantly and used to run an MSI GTX 1080 Armor. This card was just the extra boost I needed. Install was incredibly simple. Took less than 10 minutes. Gradual performance stability across the board for a variety of games. The claimed 30% performance increase is definitely true, at least in VR. The 1080 worked well, but it was running much harder. My only issue with this card is the blower it uses is quite loud at maximum load, but it does a great job at keeping the temperature under control. It's perfectly reasonable and rarely at maximum load with regular gaming. I ended up liquid cooling the card with a Kraken G10 and an AIO cooler. Regardless, the card works excellently and is even noticeable upgrade from a 1080. Upgrading from any other card will be a night and day performance difference!

Performs as well as any of my GTX 1080Tis at a lower cost
Performs as well as any of my other GTX 1080Tis (PNY, EVGA,others) at a much lower cost. For potential buyers, only compatibility issue would be that this is a taller card than others. You'll need at least a 4U case because this card is about 13.2 cm above slot level, so with slot offset and motherboard sitting 3cm or more from the back side, you are looking at 18cm height in order to have adequate clearance for cables. Best deal on GTX 1080Ti which is why I bought a couple. This card actually performs 1-2% better than my most expensive EVGA 1080Ti

EVGA GeForce 1080ti Ftw install into ASUS Z170-A
Wow! First sight you are overwhelmed by the size. I nearly had to stretch my full size tower with a shoehorn to fit it in. Once installed, I turned it on and no fans were spinning. It turns out that each fan turns on based on demand of heat exceeding a preset value about 50 Celsius. After starting everything and doing some testing, I immediately went to EVGA website to download fan tuning software and set the fans to turn on at a lower temp. Looks and performs amazing. A great value but only for full size cases.

GTX 1080ti Aorus
I purchased this over a month ago now.. after initial instal the left fan was hitting the shroud. After some gentle persuasion the shroud now clears the fan. Mostly slight damage from shipping. No cosmetic issues, as card looked brand new. Handles slight overclock well and was a great match with my i7 8700k. I am very pleases with the value of a top tier GTX card for this price. 2560x1440p at 144hz on most games easily.

GPU prices went down finally!
Amazing card for 1080p and 1440p gaming. Always 100fps+. Usually 144 fps. Always Very High or Ultra settings. EVGA is the best gpu vendor in the world, in my humble opinion. I've got no desire to get on the 20 or 30 series cards just yet. No need to game above 1440p in my world. The EVGA GTX 1080TI FW3 IS Still a major powerhouse of a card, and it's still very relevant in 2022.

Like new old stock
It's a real tragaty how expensive GPUs have become. That aside, It was delivered exactly as described. Very clean and works great! Is it a great value? - Debatable Is it quiet? - It can be a little loud under load but it's fine. If you got to pay full MSRP for a 4 year old GPU... It helps if it looks, performs, and comes with the original box and materials.

Still a good card.
Still a very high performing card for its age. The whirring noise that many have complained about with this reference model is real and takes some getting used to. I may mod the card to be water cooled and that should eliminate the noise. But the card itself is a stand in until I can afford and actually lock down a 3080.

New Build
Teenage son decided he wanted all of the components and parts to build his very own top of the line computer for online and VR gaming. We waited to pen this review until it had been built and tested for a few weeks. It arrived on time and well packaged. This graphics card outperforms the one in his $1700 computer!

Awesome looking, and performing graphics card!
Got this beautiful, mint condition GTX 1080Ti Founders Edition gpu for a great price. Something about this exact model I have always loved. The way they look, with the really cool looking green letters that light up, so cool. Card is performing exceptionally well, mining Ethereum at the moment. Very happy!
