All of the shoes that are part of Nike's Jordan Flight Club 91 series are deliberately designed as throwbacks to that special year in this history of basketball. This particular shoe in that line has an all-black upper. There are black leather overlays around the perimeter of the toebox and on the heel, while the rest of the upper is covered with black suede and synthetic fabric. The shape of the suede overlays allows some synthetic fabric to peek through. There are gold Jumpman logos on the tongue, on the interior, on the leather overlays on the heel, and on the underside of the sole. The midsole is made using black and gold rubber, while the outsole uses white rubber as well.
