The Jordan ADG Golf Shoe
While most people take up golf later in life, Michael Jordan had a connection to the sport well before he retired from basketball. His competitive drive and affinity for gambling made golf his go-to sport whenever he was off the basketball court, whether in between games or during the off-season.
Over the years, Jordan Brand has tapped into MJ's love for golf by adapting some of the most popular Air Jordan silhouettes into golf shoes, fitted with beefed-up outsoles and spikes. Jordan ADG was a new take on golf shoes.
Instead of adding golf-appropriate tooling to a popular Air Jordan, the Jordan ADG was an all-new silhouette inspired by classics.
As the most affordable Jordan golf shoe and the first to feature a spikeless design, the Jordan ADG was ideal for casual golfers not willing to spend a lot on shoes or golfers who wanted a bit more versatility than dedicated golf spikes.
The Jordan ADG
The Jordan ADG featured a similar silhouette as the Jordan Trainer ST G but was made special with details inspired by the Air Jordan 3. The golf shoe includes signature Air Jordan 3 elements like the cement print on the heel, midsole and toe cap, and a plastic heel tab. Instead of reading "AIR," the Jordan ADG's heel pull tab features a Jumpman logo and reads "GOLF." The shoes are finished with full Phylon midsoles and spikeless traction outsoles in an icy translucent finish.
Originally released in April 2019 for $135, the Jordan ADG debuted in two Air Jordan 3-inspired colorways — "White Cement" (AR7995-100) and "Black Cement" (AR7995-001).Several other colorways were released until the Jordan ADG 2 was introduced, but the two classic colorways were the most popular.

Collectibility and Resale Value of the Jordan ADG
Considering that all three golf shoe versions are relatively new and still available at select retailers, the Jordan ADG line is far from collectible from a rarity standpoint. For sports fans who love basketball and golf as much as MJ, that's a good thing because it gives them access to cool shoes to wear on the green.
Except for the most recently released Jordan ADG 3s, the ADG line can be found on sale at retailers. The same lower prices can be found on the resale market.
The Jordan ADG 2
Much like the original ADG, the Jordan ADG 2 was also inspired by the Air Jordan 3. Along with the cement print, other signature Air Jordan 3 details included the eyestays.The ADG 2 features plush leather upper, a mesh toebox, a breathable inner liner, a heel counter, extended heel fins similar to the Jordan Trunner NXT, and an updated spikeless traction system.
The updated model also came with a new price. On March 23, 2020, the ADG 2 was released in three colorways for $150 each. The colorways were "White Cement" (CT7812-100), "Black Cement " (CT7812-001), and "Summit White/Hyper Royal" (CT7812-101) that loosely took on the look of True Blue 3s.

For the third iteration of the ADG, Jordan Brand pulled inspiration from a different classic sneaker — the Air Jordan 4.Utilizing the 1989 silhouette's heel tab, eyestays, netting and speckled paint pattern, the Jordan ADG 3 pulled all of the Air Jordan 4's key elements while staying true to its function as a golf shoe.
It features a leather upper for durability and water resistance, an external heel counter for stability through swings, Zoom Air units and soft foam midsoles. Just like previous Jordan ADG models, it also features a spikeless traction system on the outsole.The Jordan ADG 3 debuted in March 2021 in three Air Jordan 4-inspired colorways for $150 — "White Cement" (CW7242-100), "Black Cement " (CW7242-001) and "Military Blue" (CW7242-101).
