Best VR experience, amazing value.
Pros: Apparently it's more comfortable for people with glasses than the Oculus producs, and significantly cheaper than the Valve Index as of this writing (February 2020). Lastly, it's cross compatible with Valve Index/HTC vive accessories, so you can upgrade only what you want to upgrade, and replace only what breaks, etc. However, you can do the same with the Oculus products, it just takes some extra work and may not work as well from what I've read online. Cons: The lenses on the HTC Vive and HTC Vive pro are fragile. This may be true for Oculus HMDs or the Valve Index, however, be extremely cautious with these lenses. If they rub against your glasses, they'll get scratched. Luckily, you can fix this with a cheap tube of Polywatch for plastic lens. It leaves the lenses as good as new, even if the scratches are severe or there are chips. There are also some Healingshield 50mm curved screen protectors for watches that both protect and make shallow scratches disappear. I strongly recommend using these to protect the lens as soon as they're out of the box. If you don't wear glasses, however, there's not much to worry about. Things to keep in mind: You can adjust the distance from the display to your face by pressing a button. Use this to make room for glasses. I made the mistake of using it on the closest setting with glasses on, while unaware that my glasses were touching the lens which led to scratches (that I later removed with Polywatch). You can adjust the pupillary distance of the lens with a scroll wheel on the side of the headset, use this to get a better viewing experience. Settings vary by people. There's an unofficial lens mod available for this headset. I advise strongly against it, though I haven't tried it myself. Headfset can get a little hot, which doesn't bother me. I bet they all do. But I live in an extremely hot 90+ degree place, and after a few hours I had to turn it off, tracking was starting to fail horrendously, as if the computer stopped seeing the headset. No big deal, it was a one time occurance on a summer-like afternoon. I got this HTC Vive Pro starter kit for $650 open-box (actually mildly used, but essentially mint.) Which was a great deal in my opinion, considering that the HMD costs $650 by itself. And the kit brand new retails for $800 to $800 right now. This kit is as good as the Valve Index (in my opinion, haven't tried it) I strongly recommend this if you're using glasses or want to use vive trackers or have any real upgradeability.

Great full VR
Understanding this is the first commercial version of VR, HTC did a great job! After careful set up by instructions I had no problems in setting up my Vive. I had also started downloading lots of free software on Steam as soon as it shipped. So I was ready to jump into the VR realm. It was impressive. Movement through twleporting seems to be the easiest. Google Earth VR let's you fly, and it seems something like that would be hard to control in a game that was not, in fact, a flying game. So moving around my cleared and defined area, ducking and weaving while shooting a bow at life sized orcs is almost a dream for an old gamer like me. It still is not perfect of course, I have found people tend to turn in the same direction so the cord needs to be unwound. And I recommend looping the cord through something like an eye hook by the computer to lessen pulling on the hardware. There are only a few buttons, so interactions are somewhat limited, but I don't miss it. When you are standing up and moving about, a few buttons is all you need. You can get a decent workout fighting Orcs or Zombies. Overall I see quote q few up for resale, but mine won't be. My son and I are really enjoying our forays into VR, and I have even bought a few games now. I may have to buy extra foam facepieces. We do get sweaty. The headset seems kind of heavy when you put it on, but you adjust it and forget fairly quickly.

Cost aside...HTC Vive Pro is a great product!
For the most part, I am satisfied with the HTC Vive Pro. There is a high pitch sound coming from somewhere on the system that can become annoying and I havn't figured out where it is coming from yet...I think from the base station cubes but not positive yet, still trying to figure that one out. As far as the value is concerned...this is a very pricy item, and I got it at a discount and it is still considered a pricey item in my book. Is it worth the high price tag? If you have a ton of extra money sitting around and your not using your rent money for this purchase then, yes it is worth it, otherwise it is not worth it. I feel it is the same exact quality as the Play Station VR, the big difference is the amount of games available. The Play Station is limited on the number of games available where as the HTC has a pretty impressive library of available games to keep you occupied for hours and hours. Overall, money aside, I feel the HTC Vive Pro is a great product! (just need to figure out where this ringing sound is coming from).

Comfortable and lightweight with amazing features and tons of usage possibilities.
I've used it nonstop for the past few days. As someone that plays games like VRChat a ton and takes on commissions for the game, I've fallen in love with this headset. The eye tracking is easy to set up and setting it up helps you find your correct IPD. The audio is decent as well and with a bit of tweaking, the mic sounds perfect in different games. The graphics quality is pretty decent as well. I own a Valve Index as well and the Vive Pro Eye is able to show just about what the index shows me when I'm playing various games. The headset is just as comfortable as well. I often forget that I'm wearing the headset and I was even able to sleep in VR for the first time without being uncomfortable the entire night.

Works as intended, but very costly to the comsumer.
Over all the wireless adapter does EXACTLY as advertised. My biggest complaints are; 1. The provided batter pack will only last 1-2 hours and takes a very long time to recharge. Is overly expensive compared to other batter packs of the same specs. 2. The Vive wireless software does not mesh well with steam VR (as of yet) you absolutely have to have the HMD connected to the vive wireless program before starting SteamVR or it will bug out. However, the biggest benefit is that any QC 3.0 battery pack WILL work (HTC says it will void your warranty if it breaks the adapter).

Good product from a good seller
This came with everything I needed to setup my handmedown Vive, just a tracker, the mount, and the power supply unit. Most sellers on eBay only sell the tracker for the same price or more, so I was very happy to see this listing and managed to grab one. The package came a bit late due to some mishaps on USPS's part, but the package was covered in tape (which I consider a plus, due to the weather my state has been having lately) and all the contents packaged very nicely.

Top-notch VR HMD. Needs top-notch PC to push it. Pricey. AWESOME!!!
Resulution increase and weight reduction makes it worth it for hardcore VR enthusiasts, others, probably not so much. It takes a top-end PC to push this HMD to it's limits, so be ready to make a much larger investment if you haven't already. I'm running a i7-8700K CPU and RTX 2080Ti GPU, so google those to get an idea of the investment required to get the most out of it. Enjoy!!! I sure am!!!

Would recommend
I haven't had any issues whatsoever. I'm glad I made this purchase. It came in very fast, about 2 days. Originally I was to wait a week. I also love the googly eyes it came with for some reason. It's really funny to see my boyfriend put my vive on and err the eyes shake. Thank you so much. 11/10 would recommend.

Performance depends on your PC.
Works perfect with a strong cpu and video card. I had it on an intel i5 with a gtx 1080 and worked great on the original vive. When I tried it on my vive pro, it stuttered so much. Switched the vr to my ryzen 2700x and vega 64 build and the pro works flawless. So it depends on the build.

Works as advertised. Need both really good GPU and processor.
It works as advertised. It works better if you have a better processor. Some games were pixelated, and I have i7 6700 processor. GTX980ti. I think in future, developers will provide patches to improve performance and stability. I was able to improve performance by fiddling with priority levels in "Task Manager".
