A/C 压缩机和离合器适用于佛特 F-350 Super Duty

Ford F-350 Super Duty A/C Compressor & Clutch

The Ford F-350 Super Duty truck can come with a gasoline or diesel engine and as a manual or automatic, depending on what you prefer. One way to make sure youre comfortable in the Super Duty truck is to make certain the air conditioning stays in check. With a replacement Ford F-350 Super Duty A/C compressor and clutch, you can keep your air conditioning system in your truck in proper working order.

How do you know the F-350 A/C compressor needs replaced?

You can tell when the A/C compressor is going bad in the Ford F-350 Super Duty when you start hearing noises, cold air is no longer blowing out, or the system is completely locked up. You can test the system by:

  1. Starting the truck and turning the A/C to the highest setting so you can listen for noises.
  2. Screwing a can of lubricant onto the Freon recharge valves base and then attach the nozzle of the valve to the A/C systems low-pressure side near the evaporator. If noises are still heard, the compressor needs to be replaced.
  3. Ultraviolet dye can be used in the same way as the lubricant, but the dye should be allowed to circulate through the system for a day and then checked with a black light to identify leaks in the system.
How do you know the A/C compressor clutch is bad?

To see if the Ford F-350 Super Duty A/C Compressor is bad, you must first engage the emergency brake and start the vehicle. Raise the hood and touch the positive and negative battery terminals with the positive and negative leads of a voltmeter. If the reading is below 12.5, the battery is too weak to engage the compressor and that is your problem. However, stand in front of the vehicle with the A/C controls turned on and see if the clutch will spin. If not, you can check the fuse. If that isnt the issue, the clutch pulley, clutch, or the entire A/C compressor in your Super Duty may need to be replaced.

How can you identify a bad A/C clutch bearing?

An A/C clutch bearing in a Ford F-350 Super Duty vehicle is going to cause noise when the A/C is running. A bearing that doesnt turn smoothly while in the pulley needs to be replaced. If the entire shaft that the clutch is attached to turns rough or not at all, then it is the compressor that needs to be replaced.

What causes a compressor clutch to shut off?

If your F-350s clutch is turning off after a few seconds of cycling, the pump seal may be bad. The shutoff is due to low pressure. The sensor can be unplugged from the truck to see if the compressor will come on. However, the problem could be due to a bad air conditioner pressure switch, which can be replaced without replacing the entire compressor in the truck.
